The night before the jack hammer arrived, I was pretty proud of what we had accomplished. The gutting of the basement had commenced, the oil tank was gone, the oil furnace was gone and so was the Carl Whitehead‘s workshop, tools, shelves and all the antiques.
In the video you will see the spray painted marks on the floor where Nickel Bros. the house lifters have asked for 6′ by 6’ holes to be dug for their cribbing which will hold the house while we replace the foundation with a deeper new one.
